Dear Aquasports Supporters and Friends

The tents have been packed away and the washing is just about done and as we take a moment to reflect on Aquasports 2023 we firstly want to say a huge thank you.

A thank you to all of you that made this week happen! The cabins were nothing short of wonderful and worked really well. Thank you to everyone who gave financially and also supported Aquasports through persistent prayer.

The young people who spent a week with us at Aquasports were brilliant. These young people make camp what it is year in, year out and it is our pleasure and privilege to serve them. It was a wonderful group of young people who all got involved, had lots of fun out on the water and hopefully have gone away from the week knowing Jesus that little bit better.

At the end of the week we had a time of celebration and God was clearly moving. At least 30 young people came to know Jesus for the first time or made a recommitment to their faith.

We also had a time of giving. This year we decided that our collection should go to St Michael and St George’s church in the centre of the White City Housing estate in West London, where one of our team Jamie works closely with young people. This collection will enable some of these young people to come and experience Aquasports next year for themselves and give them some respite from the stresses of life that sadly far too often is hugely impacted by unemployment and crime.

A whopping £1333.22 was gifted but if you are able and would also like to contribute to this bursary, then you can do so through the giving page on the Aquasports website. https://aquasports.org.uk/supporting-aquasports/

Bookings are now open for 2024 so let the planning commence!

Every blessing

Andrea and Greg
