There is a whole host of activities on offer at Aquasports that you can get involved in – from water sports to land games and fun evening entertainment. You will make new friends and discover more about yourself all whilst trying out all the different sports.

Water-skiing is a surface water sport in which an individual is pulled behind a boat over a body of water, skimming the surface on two skis or one ski (if you’re really good!)

Wakeboarding is a surface water sport which involves riding a wakeboard over the surface of a body of water. The wakeboard is a small, mostly rectangular, thin board with very little displacement and shoe-like bindings mounted to it. Whether you’re a novice or a pro you instantly look a lot cooler than you actually are when you wake-board.

Kneeboarding is an aquatic sport where you are towed on a buoyant, convex, and hydrodynamically shaped board at speed. You kneel your heels on the board, and secure yourself to the deck with an adjustable Velcro strap over your thighs.

A fantastic, easy way to get on the water with little or no skill! Every one can tube and some would even say its the most fun you can have on the water. Hold on to our inflatable disk that is spun around the lake by one of our speedboats – see who can stay on the longest!

Sailing can be tricky to learn, but fear not – our instructors are on hand to help you all the way. Once you’ve mastered it you’ll have a great time taking a boat out on the lake.

Stand up paddleboarding, or SUP, is where boarders stand on boards that are floating on the water, and use a paddle to propel themselves through the water.

Kayaking is distinguished from canoeing by the sitting position of the paddler and the number of blades on the paddle. A kayak is a low-to-the-water, canoe-like boat in which the paddler sits facing forward, legs in front, using a double-bladed paddle to pull front-to-back on one side and then the other in rotation. We sometimes run Kayaking trips at certain times during the week for those who like a bit of adventure.

If you don’t fancy taking anything out on the water you can always go for a relaxing swim! We have part of the lake dedicated to swimming and we even have a water trampoline.

There is a large area for playing football. There is also a football tournament that takes place every camp, for whoever wants to get involved

Every year this is a very popular sport. The courts are set up so you can get a match going whenever you like.

We fully rely on the amazing volunteers that come and service on Aquasports for the provision of the many activities we provide. Whilst we endeavour to provide all advertised activities, it is not always possible to do so. Please see our Ts&Cs for more information or get in touch.
