Dear Supporters
We had a wonderful gathering of team last weekend (albeit via Teams!) to pray and plan for Aquasports 2024. We can’t believe that the start of Aquasports is just 6 weeks away!
We are currently welcoming 45 young people but we do need a full camp of 60. Please do therefore share your love of Aquasports with your networks. We all know that this week can be a life changing and pivotal moment in a young person’s life and can be the start of an exciting journey with Jesus. Please don’t hesitate to put us in contact with anyone who would like a bit more information about Aquasports. Many of you will know Frances and Trevor Kimm. They are amazing servants of Aquasports and are cherished and much loved members of the Aquasports family. Having served for many a year they have decided to take a step away from serving at camp full time. We hope they will still like to be involved, particularly at pre-camp, but this year they aren’t able to come at all as they have tickets to Paris 2024! We would however like to mark this time and celebrate this very special couple.
We would like to create a book of memories and thanks for them but we can’t do that on our own. If you have any messages of thanks, funny stories, memories and photographs, please send them through to us at ainsworths@aquasports.org.uk by the 19th July. If you have older, printed photographs please do scan them or take a digital image of them. Please don’t send us the originals. If you have any further questions about this then please do just get in touch.
Please join us in surrounding Aquasports in prayer. Please pray for the practicalities that are involved in making a camp like this run. For safety, for our amazing team, the young people that are going to be coming and most importantly that God would move, that lives are transformed and that our young people would encounter Jesus.
